Education
Reviewed the international commercial and consumer markets issues, particularly in the Islamic banking system, commercial and investment arbitration, company laws, the English legal system, and global trade finance products and methods, mainly letters of credit, guarantees, and international leasing.
It was a three-week academic programme organised by the Institute for European Studies (IES) at Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles (USL-B) in Brussels, Belgium, in cooperation with the highly ranked law firm Van Bael & Bellis (VBB) from 1 July to 19 July 2019.
In the first and third weeks, we reviewed the EU legal system and EU business law, and in the second week, we travelled to the heart of Europe - Geneva, Strasbourg and Luxembourg. During the tenure, visited several European and international organisations and met leading figures.
It is a three-year undergraduate degree in law, wherein we covered a brief introduction to different laws, enlightening the understanding of the judicial, legislative, and executive systems of Pakistan.
