Performs radiologic procedure according to the protocol of the assigned section.
Equipment handling and maintenance; in charge of boots up, turning off and on of the machine, sets and monitors the machine parameters, monitors the machine while the procedure is ongoing and performs preventive checkup on equipment according to schedule.
Ensures safety of the patient during the procedure.
Shielding patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation.
Evaluation of captured images for clarity and accuracy.
Disinfects machines with transeptic solution. Maintains cleanliness and order of the examination room.
Assisting MD’s during other special x-ray procedures. Assists Radiologist during stat ultrasound procedures. Assisting MD’s with the use of C-arm in the operating room.
Performs MRI plain and contrast procedures according to the Physicians request. Performs plain CT-scan according to the Physicians request. Performs X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Mammogram, Dental X-ray and Bone Densitometry according to the Physicians request.
Utilizes certain radiology/hospital information systems inclination DICOM, PACS and HIS (Bizbox, IQVIA).
