Work & Experience
As a dedicated supply teacher, I provided immediate and effective
instructional coverage across various subjects and grade levels,
maintaining lesson continuity and a positive learning environment.
I taught academic skills, including academic writing and research
methods, to help students successfully complete their theses and
dissertations. My experience includes delivering courses in English for
Academic Purposes, Business Communication, and Personal
Development. I collaborated with faculty to develop and improve
curriculum, and I designed assessments that provided detailed feedback
to enhance student performance. I also used a LMS to create engaging
online resources and conduct assessments.
As a Foundation teacher, I designed stimulating, play-based environments
to foster curiosity and independence. My days were spent facilitating
learning through purposeful play, observing progress, and documenting
achievements against early learning goals. I was a routine-builder, a
social-emotional coach, and a phonics expert, delivering daily interactive
sessions. Crucially, I collaborated closely with parents sharing insights
and celebrating milestones to ensure each child felt safe, supported, and
inspired on their first formal school journey.
Facilitated literacy development in a project-based, open-learning
environment.
• Encouraged experiential learning using natural and real-life objects.
As a homeroom teacher, I delivered engaging, inquiry-based lessons
aligned with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework across
English, Mathematics, and Science subjects.
I Designed and delivered a specialised EAP curriculum focused on
advanced grammar and academic writing for high-achieving Year 13
students holding conditional offers from Westminster International
University. Also, collaborated with the Head of Department to develop
schemes of work and learning outcomes that ensured a seamless
transition to British university-level academic standards. During
exams I invigilated formal examinations, upholding the institution's
rigorous standards of academic integrity.
