Completed post graduate diploma in specialist community nursing to develop and enhance skills and management during this period also completed nurse prescriber. Further to this I have completed my enhanced community clinical skills to support my role in clinical differential diagnosis and planning of care
Work & Experience
Working within the intensive care unit as a staff nurse taking care of critically ill patients. Ventilated and sedated, post surgery or medical illness. Support with health development and rehabilitation. Although I left icu in 2018 I continued to bank and also returned during Covid 2020-2021
Support and close working with consultants in diagnosis and management of the terminal disease. Working collaboratively with both hospital practitioners, community teams and hospice to ensure best care outcomes for the patients
Community nursing, providing care to clients in their own homes or clinics settings. Wound care, bloods and medication administration. Clinical reviews and care planning differential diagnosis and further intervention. Working collaboratively with other services.
