Senior Developer – DevOps
Job Description
Infosys seeks a Senior Developer ‒ DevOps to lead automation and infrastructure efforts in its global delivery environment across Canada. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code. The role involves collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient deployment of applications. Ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience in cloud-native tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple development teams.
- Manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for production and staging.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and alerting via logging tools.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices and compliance.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues across environments to ensure smooth operations.
- Automate repetitive workflows, reducing manual effort and human errors.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge about DevOps tools and practices.
Skill & Experience
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Deep understanding of containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent debugging, communication, collaboration across multidisciplinary global teams.
