Technology Architect – AI Application Architect
Job Description
Infosys Japan seeks an AI Application Architect to lead design and delivery of scalable intelligent systems. This role demands defining architecture for machine learning, generative AI, and data pipelines, integrating cloud infra, APIs, and best practices. The architect will collaborate across teams (data, devops, product), ensure high reliability, security, and modularity, and drive innovation in AI solutions. Must stay current with AI trends and regulatory compliance in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Define AI application architecture aligning with business goals and technical roadmap.
- Lead design of ML models, pipelines, and data processing workflows.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure scalability, security, and efficient resource utilisation.
- Collaborate with product, data, engineering teams to refine solution requirements.
- Guide deployment, monitoring, versioning of AI models in production.
- Maintain documentation, standards, best practices for AI application lifecycle.
- Evaluate new AI tools, frameworks, keeping technology stack modern.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers on AI architecture principles.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience building AI/ML systems in production at scale.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and APIs.
- Expertise in architecture patterns, microservices, data pipelines, and orchestration.
- Deep understanding of ML ops, model versioning, observability, deployment pipelines.
- Excellent communication (Japanese and/or English), stakeholder collaboration, requirement gathering.
- Up-to-date awareness of AI regulations, ethics, security, privacy compliance.
