Job Description

A Radiologist is responsible for diagnosing and interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to assist in patient treatment. They collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate, timely, and safe imaging results. The role involves patient care, reporting findings, recommending follow-up imaging, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols while maintaining high-quality diagnostic standards in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic images accurately and provide detailed reports promptly.
  • Consult with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques required.
  • Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection and safety protocols.
  • Guide technicians and staff during imaging procedures for proper execution.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex patient cases.
  • Recommend additional tests or follow-ups based on imaging findings.
  • Stay updated with latest radiology advancements and technology improvements.
